PIease Read Before Adopting a Harrier in North Dakota
Harrier Dogs can make good pets in North Dakota if they match your IifestyIe. The Harrier is a small dog similar to a Foxhound. Harriers are playful pack animals, and get along well with other dogs. Harriers like to track and chase so they should be kept on a leash or in a securely fenced yard. Harriers are happy, patient, and fantastic with children. This breed does best when it has plenty of land on which to romp and lots of daily exercise. Harriers may become destructive if they do not get enough exercise.

lnteresting Harrier Trivia Low-Cost North Dakota Spay & Neuter Clinics
Harriers were bred to hunt hare, hence the name Harrier. Harriers are so energetic and determined that they have been able to hunt prey until the prey has simply collapsed from exhaustion. The first Harriers were bred in England in 1260. Sir Elias de Midhope established the first Harrier pack. Harriers are rare in the U.S. but popular in England.
